THE GRAVES FAMILY
The Graves Family is a Southern Gospel band from The Tulsa OK area. They write most of their music and one can hear the influence of bluegrass, country and traditional Southern Gospel in their melodies. The performances feature a live band with piano, drums, bass, guitar, mandolin, banjo and fiddle with beautiful vocal harmonies. Their goal is for each performance to be a worship service that encourages Christians and draws unbelievers to Christ.
Calendar events and samples of their music
are on their website: gravesfamilymusic.com
The group consists of David and Lynne Graves, their 10 children, and band members Jimmy and Johnny Hardesty. Joseph, Beth, Deborah and Lydia are the main vocalists, but the entire family has a role.
